The Leon County Housing Department is offering two new assistance programs for residents of unincorporated Leon County. These programs are funded by a grant of $1.5 million from the State of Florida’s Impact Fee Proviso Program.

1. The Foreclosure-Prevention Assistance Program provides foreclosure assistance to qualified Leon County residents living outside the City limits. This program assists residents to bring current, their existing mortgage.
    
2. The First-Time Homebuyer Down-payment Assistance Program provides financial assistance to first-time homebuyers purchasing a home outside the city limits of Leon County.

Please review the programs’ specific eligibility requirements. Assistance is provided on a first come, first qualified basis.
