Scales of Justice

Under the direction of Wanda Hunter-Donaldson, the Probation Division consists of two components: Probation and Supervised Pre-Trial Release. The Probation Program has sixteen (16) employees: one (1) supervisor, two (2) senior officers, four (4) officer II, four (4) officer I, one (1)community service/work program coordinator, one (1) administrative associate V, and three (3) probation technicians. The Supervised Pre-Trial Release Program has twelve (12) employees; one (1) supervisor, one (1) senior pre-trial specialist, two (2) global positioning satellite specialist, six (6) pre-trial specialist, one(1) case worker and one (1) pre-trial technician.

Leon County Probation / SUPERVISED Pre-trial Release Mission Statement

In conformity with Leon County’s Mission Statement, the Probation Division is dedicated to restoring and enhancing the quality of life of the clients we serve: and assist in making them productive and responsible citizens for a safer community. The Division is responsible for providing information to the Courts to properly dispose of cases in a timely manner, and inform of status while on Probation, Pretrial Release or the Diversion Program, thereby ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Criminal Justice System (Judges, State Attorneys, Public Defenders, Clerk, Jail, etc.) and the guarantee of protection to Leon County.
