Operations, after more than thirty-one years of dedicated
service to the citizens of Leon County.

retirement of Rita Knight, Library Assistant, after seven
years of dedicated service to the people of Leon County.
Chairman Jane G. Sauls presents a resolution to Ariel Rolle
Polk, Florida Youth Advocate of the Year, for her leadership
role in the campaign against tobacco, and her efforts with
the “Relay for Life”. In her honor, Chairman Sauls
designated May 31, 2008 as “World Tobacco-Free Day”.

to the Big Bend Community Based Care, Inc. in recognition of
May 2008 as National Foster Care Month.
